| What you notice | Your next decision | Open this guide |
|---|---|---|
| You are starting a fresh session. | Find a manageable first task rather than planning every upgrade. | Beginner guide — follow the opening loop and use the first-session checklist. |
| You have dust but cannot explain the payment stage. | Separate collection, delivery and payment before assuming something has failed. | Money guide — understand the handoffs and what needs checking. |
| Several upgrades look useful, but funds are limited. | Identify the bottleneck you want to reduce before comparing purchases. | Upgrades guide — compare categories, prerequisites and evidence limits. |
| Friends are joining or discussing a shared purchase. | Agree on the host and check which rules apply to the crew. | Co-op guide — review the shared matrix and unanswered ownership questions. |
| You are choosing whether to buy a copy. | Check the actual store region and edition, then confirm the platform. | Price and platforms — separate a current offer from support claims. |
| You are checking a PC before installing. | Compare CPU, memory, graphics and storage separately; do not infer a frame rate. | PC requirements — read the official minimum and recommended specifications. |
| You have measured a recent cleaning interval. | Choose one unit and check whether the measurement covers the whole team. | Progress calculator — estimate the time remaining for your entered goal. |
| You need one quick fact before reading a longer guide. | Locate the answer and follow its source or detailed explanation. | FAQ — find release, platform and progression answers in context. |
What has been checked?
These guides use the official Steam listing and developer announcements, including patches 1.0.3 and 1.0.4. We keep official statements separate from editorial advice and identify instructions that still need an in-game check.
A guide being published does not mean we independently tested every possible setup. Read its source and scope notes before relying on a specific value, compatibility report or recovery procedure.
Open the supporting Steam link and compare the announcement’s version with your installed build. Read which claim it confirms; a recent source-check date does not mean every action was tested. If a documented step differs from your interface, include your version when reporting a correction.
Follow the cleaning loop
Start with collecting and delivering dust. Then examine where time is going: cleaning, carrying, travelling or waiting. The money guide explains the loop; the upgrade guide explains how to choose the next type of improvement; the co-op guide explains how the host’s world and shared matrix affect a crew.
Use the progress calculator after measuring a recent portion of play. It estimates your own target rather than inventing an official whole-Moon completion time.
Before buying or troubleshooting
