Plan your own cleaning goal
Use a target you choose and a recent measurement. This estimates your plan, not the Moon’s official completion percentage. Inputs stay in this page unless you explicitly save them on this device.
Enter your own target and measurement.
Formula and assumptions
Remaining = target − completed. Measured rate = measured amount ÷ measurement minutes. Multiply by players only for a per-player measurement. Estimated time = remaining ÷ team rate. Dust loads = remaining ÷ capacity, rounded up.
The estimate assumes throughput stays constant. Travel, downtime, different terrain, upgrade effects, unequal player performance and transport bottlenecks can change it. Hex estimates are only meaningful for comparable player-defined hexes.
Hypothetical worked example — not game data
A target of 10,000 dust, 2,500 completed, and a whole-team measurement of 500 dust in 10 minutes gives 25% complete, 7,500 remaining and 150 minutes left. A capacity of 600 dust gives 13 equivalent loads. If 500 dust in 10 minutes was instead the average per player for four players, the estimate becomes 37.5 minutes. These numbers demonstrate the formula only.

How the Moon Sweepers progress calculator works
Remaining amount is your target minus the amount completed. Measured pace is the quantity cleared divided by the minutes measured. Remaining minutes are the remaining amount divided by the team pace. If you enter a per-player average, the tool multiplies it by crew size once. A team measurement is never multiplied again.
| Input | Hypothetical example |
|---|---|
| Target / completed | 10,000 / 2,500 dust units |
| Measured team pace | 500 units in 10 minutes = 50 per minute |
| Remaining | 7,500 units = 150 minutes at that pace |
| Optional capacity | 600 units = 13 equivalent loads |
These are arithmetic examples, not official game values. Equivalent loads ignore already loaded material, routes and travel time. A new tool, downtime or a change in team roles can make an earlier measurement unrepresentative.
Measure a pace that matches your plan
- Choose one unit and a target you can actually record.
- Note the starting completed amount and time.
- Play a representative interval, including normal interruptions.
- Subtract the completed amounts and enter the elapsed minutes.
- Choose team mode if the measurement already includes everyone.
When using sectors or hexes, remember that areas may differ in size and difficulty. The result is progress toward your entered target, not the game’s official completion percentage.
What is saved or sent?
Calculations stay in this browser. The site does not upload your target, pace, capacity or crew size. Saving a plan is optional and local to this device. A saved plan is not a Steam save and is not synchronized with friends. Analytics, if you allow it, receives only limited tool-use events—not input values or results. See privacy details.
